Aerial Insulated Cable

Application

Our Aerial Insulated Cables are engineered for overhead (aerial) installations requiring a rated voltage of 10kV. These products primarily serve to distribute electrical energy under typical operating conditions. Installers must use insulators and/or spacers that are appropriate for the service voltage to ensure safe and effective operation. Users may also need to consider the dielectric compatibility of the cable covering with insulators and spacers. Gongniu Cable ensures these products meet rigorous standards for such applications.

Description

The conductors within our Aerial Insulated Cables are available in stranded, circular compressed aluminum, aluminum-alloy, or copper to suit various project needs. A black, extruded semi-conducting shield functions as the conductor screen. The outer insulation is typically made from black thermoplastic polyethylene (PE) or cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), offering excellent weather and UV resistance. These insulation materials are rated for normal service temperatures of either 75°C or 90°C, providing durability and consistent performance.
