The STACIR/AW (Hi-STACIR/AW) conductor is a new type of overhead conductor,consists of an aluminum-clad Invar core and heat-resistant aluminum alloy wires, which is suitable for the reconstruction of old lines to increase capacity while keeping the sag unchanged.
Application
STACIR/AW, Hi-STACIR/AW is normally used to up-rate an existing transmission line by simply replacing the existing conductor without tower modification or reinforcement.
